Malaysia Homestay Program is an initiative by our government to help tourism industry. It was first introduced in 1998 by Ministry of Tourism Malaysia. The focus of this program is to promote the lifestyle and culture of 'kampung' resident to the tourist. Tourist and travelers can experience new environment with local people. Some activities like fishing, animal rearing and paddy planting gives the unforgettable memories to the tourist. As for Selangor, there are about 15 homestay involved in this program. Each of the homestay has it's own uniqueness.
